Meridian Centre Aims

In the meridian centre we aim to identify potential learners, with a need for functional skills and language support development, enabling them to achieve their full potential. We also provide things such as helping individuals to seek employment, supply training opportunities, and give ICT training for learners who have bypassed the digital age.

We want to also reduce social isolation to ensure that each new learner gains support to overcome any perceived barrier to participation with their society and their peers and start to build their initial confidence.

Implementing strategies to become sustainable and provide good value for money at Meridian is essential to us to encourage new and existing partnerships to develop; thereby facilitating rounded and quality delivery of our training.

We also aim to lead and co-ordinate community learning and training activities for everyone and anyone who is willing to make a change to their lives and opportunities.
